Ensure safe escort of materials and personnel as required. Perform inspections to identify security and fire hazards. Handle special assignments as directed. Arriving punctually in full uniform and maintaining a professional appearance. Welcoming all customers, visitors, and staff with a friendly demeanor. Staying up-to-date with all post orders and relevant information shared by your supervisor. Proactively patrol or monitor assigned areas, reporting any suspicious activity as well as incidents. Continuously monitor security equipment (e.g., cameras) as per post orders. Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures to effectively respond to alarms and incidents. Document daily activities, incidents, and any necessary reports as part of your role. Offer suggestions for enhancing safety and loss prevention processes. Understand the operation of life safety systems and communicate with maintenance personnel as needed. Ensure compliance with training and guidelines set by the organization. Communicate daily with your Security Supervisor regarding any new issues or changes in protocol. Integrity, vigilance, and a commitment to safeguarding property and safety. Exceptional customer service skills that align with our mission. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively. Willingness to embrace change and collaborate with team members. A proactive approach and sense of urgency in all tasks. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
