POSITION TITLE : The New Business Development Manager (Data Center)
POSITION OBJECTIVE : Responsible for identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities, developing and implementing strategies to expand Clearfield’s presence in the Data Center market, and driving business development initiatives to support this strategy. This role involves strategic planning and building relationships with key stakeholders to enhance the company's competitive position and achieve revenue targets.
POSITION RSPONSIBILITIES :
Role will have responsibilities that focus on New Business Development within Strategic Markets, Strategic Planning, Sales and Revenue Growth, Reporting, and Communication
Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to achieve growth targets.
- Develop and manage relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Create and present business proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, alliances, and potentially recommend acquisitions.
- Work with Market Development team to analysis and identify emerging trends, market eco-system, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Work closely with market development, product managers and marketing to develop application-based collateral for target markets.
- Bring to the table new product ideas and initiate NPI process by providing functional requirements
- Develop and implement actionable plans to meet strategic objectives and drive growth.
- Drive revenue growth through the acquisition of new clients and expansion within existing accounts.
- Oversee the development of sales strategies and campaigns to increase market share and profitability.
- Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and optimize performance.
- Mentor product managers and marketing professionals by providing guidance and understanding of new markets. Including access to technical guidance.
- Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities, market trends, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
POSITON REQUIREMENTS :
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
BENEFITS for full time :
SALARY AND BENEFIT INFORMATION :
Salary Range $111,479 - $139,349 - $167,218; bonus and incentive eligible position. Offers of employment will be extended at a level consistent with the experience and qualifications of the candidate. This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position at the time of posting. The salary range may be modified in the future and actual compensation may vary from the posting based on various factors such as geographic location, work experience, education and / or skill level.
