What will you do?

As a senior leader for data and analytics, the VP of Data Intelligence at VF is responsible for focusing on and defining the overall data strategy including advanced analytics, AI / ML and GenAI industrialization, identifying opportunities for leveraging data assets to drive business value and fostering a customer of data driven decision making and innovation.

This position requires a combination of strategic vision, technical expertise, and strong leadership in a highly federated environment delivering a platform at scale in large scope of use cases for analytics to machine learning and AI.

This leader will elevate the role, services and products of data and advanced analytics by collaborating with VF's business and brand leaders as well as other key stakeholders to understand their data needs and communicate the value of data driven decision making. This leader will identify emerging trends and technologies in data management and analytics while evaluating their potential impact on the organization.

You will be co-located with project teams, in a digital hub or at the relevant business location, with possible occasional travel.

• Develop comprehensive data strategies across the VFs Digital and Technology organization including Data Management, Data Engineering, Governance, Platform and Advanced Analytics that aligns to business objectives.
• Identify areas of opportunities that can drive leverage data to drive growth, reuse, efficiency, automation, and simplicity.
• Identify new data and analytics services that can unlock the potential of data by ensuring our data is AI ready and we make incremental steps in our data and analytics maturity.
• Execute a continuous data architecture assessment to design and deliver a modern and enterprise grade target architecture for data platforms, models and visualization.
• Provide inputs to define and execute strategic roadmap for data architecture by understanding the current landscape and set up the framework for shaping and executing the target architecture and its delivery roadmap.
• Provide technical leadership and hands-on implementation role in the areas of data techniques including data ingestion, data transformation / processing, data quality, data modeling, data visualization involving end to end data life cycle.
• Act as technical lead of a global team and manage functional & non-functional scope, quality and timelines.
• Help establish standard data practices and frameworks like data governance, data quality, data validation, data security, data privacy, monitoring, and error management.

Should exhibit and demonstrate Thought Leadership point of views and provide business and technical consulting to the clients and mentorship / coaching to the team members.

What do you need to succeed?

Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 15 years of experience in technology with 8+ years of those in data related technologies.

Hiring Range : $240,000.00 USD - $300,000.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
