Position : Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) Maternal / Child Instructor (9-month position)

Location : Athens Campus

Department : Division of Life Sciences & Public Safety

Reports to : Program Chair for the Associate of Science in Nursing Program and Divisional Academic Dean

Salary / Benefits : Salary is commensurate with education and experience. State of Georgia benefits package.

Responsibilities :

Teach in simulation and laboratory settings.

Clinical and classroom instruction.

Curriculum implementation and evaluation.

Work with regulators to maintain full accreditation.

Perform other work duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications :

Masters of Science in Nursing with experience in maternal / child nursing education.

Current and valid Georgia Registered Professional Nursing License.

Current BLS certification for healthcare providers.

Preferred Qualifications :

Two (2) years teaching experience and clinical practice in the field of maternal / child nursing.

Experience with simulation and technology.
