The Data Engineer supports the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines and analytics solutions within a cloud-based data environment. This role works with large datasets to enable reliable reporting, analytics, and data-driven decision making, and is well suited for early-career or entry-level candidates.
Develop and maintain data pipelines using Spark and SparkSQL
Support the build and enhancement of cloud-based data warehouse solutions
Write, test, and optimize data processing scripts to support analytics and reporting needs
Assist with data validation, quality checks, and backfill operations
Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline and performance issues
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Support reporting, analytics, and dashboarding initiatives by providing clean, structured data
Maintain documentation for data workflows and processes
Contribute to continuous improvement of data engineering tools and practices
0–3 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or a related technical role
Experience working with Spark and SparkSQL
Solid SQL skills and experience querying large datasets
Exposure to cloud-based data warehouse platforms
Experience scripting in Python or similar languages
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Clear written and verbal communication skills
