Claims Administrator

The claims administrator position exists to process and issue payment for policyholder's documented claims for damaged, lost or pilfered shipments.
Essential duties and functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Date stamp and verify submitted claims and supporting documents to approve or deny claims.
- Monitor claims for which premium payments have not been received.
- Issue and follow up on requests for missing documentation.
- Communicate with customers regarding the status and investigation of claims.
- Work with brokers regarding coverage issues.
- Date stamp and verify MTR claims and forward to carrier partner.
- Review claims on hold and follow up on needed information to approve or deny.
- Prepare approved claims for payment.
- Salvage maintenance
Issue call tags for damaged goods.
