Job Summary
The Georgia Department of Education (Ga DOE)- Division of State Schools is recruiting for a Database Administrator 2 (DBA) for the Georgia Parent Infant Network for Educational Services (Georgia PINES) unit. Under general supervision of the Georgia PINES Director, the (DBA) designs and secures computer databases to store, track, and maintain a large volume of critical business information. The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Description of Duties
- Design, code, test, modify and debug computer software, using relational database systems and SQL platforms
- Research and analyzes program or system problems and develops related program documentation
- Translate business requirements into development activities in secure and maintainable code
- Other duties as assigned

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field from an accredited college or university AND Two years of experience in support of an operating system, database management system or a related field OR Two years of experience at the lower level Database Administrator 1 (ITP030) or position equivalent.
