Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Database Developer to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Plymouth, Minnesota. This role will focus on managing and processing large-scale data transactions using advanced tools and APIs, while ensuring seamless integration with SQL Server systems. Ideal candidates will possess strong technical expertise and the ability to adapt to dynamic environments with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and process high-volume data transactions using T-SQL and modern data tools.
- Design, implement, and optimize stored procedures to support efficient data handling.
- Parse, ingest, and process structured data into SQL Server using APIs.
- Retrieve and catalog large datasets in SQL Server, ensuring accuracy and organization.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes to support data transformation and integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure database solutions align with business objectives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, ensuring system reliability.
- Create detailed documentation for database processes and workflows.
- Utilize SSRS for advanced reporting and data visualization.
- Stay updated on emerging database technologies and tools to enhance system performance.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Database Developer.
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
- Strong knowledge of ETL processes and data integration techniques.
- Experience with stored procedures and database optimization.
- Familiarity with APIs for data retrieval and integration.
- Expertise in SSRS for reporting and data visualization.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
