The Industrial Engineer works in company's manufacturing unit to assess required labor for production of products and assigning workers to work on machines as well as ensuring complete utilization of resources.
Apply now! Responsibilities: - Manage workers and the machinery present in manufacturing unit.
- Devise efficient systems that integrate workers, machines, materials, information, and energy to make a product or provide a service.
- Design, develop and maintain manufacturing routes to maximize effectiveness, efficiency and space.
- Review production schedules, engineering specification, process flows, and other information to understand methods and activities in manufacturing and services.
- Develop management control systems to make financial planning and cost analysis more efficient.
- Design control systems to coordinate activities and production planning to ensure that product meets quality standards.
- Enact quality control procedures to resolve production problems or minimize costs.
- Confer with clients about product specification, vendors about purchases, management personnel about manufacturing capabilities, and staff about the status of project.
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, or equivalent required.
- Passing score on the Professional Engineering (PE) exam or the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam preferred.
- 2+ years of related experience.
- Advanced knowledge of machines and tools, their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.
