Key Responsibilities
Administer and maintain DB2 zOS databases, including installation, configuration, and upgrades
Provide 24 x 7 support for critical production systems and troubleshoot complex database issues
Design and execute backup and recovery procedures, ensuring data integrity and availability
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience as a DB2 zOS Database Administrator
Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or equivalent work experience
In-depth knowledge of DB2 zOS architecture and operating system zOS
Experience with Netezza Performance Server database administration
Proficiency in scripting languages (shell, Python, or Perl) for automation tasks
