Description

Location : Multiple Locations Pay : $200$240 per day (based on experience) Schedule : 2-for-1 rotation

Deckhands perform essential physical labor aboard vessels and barges in all weather conditions. Daily responsibilities include, but not limited to :

  • Making and breaking tow
  • Securing boats and barges
  • Line handling and rigging
  • Standing lookout watches
  • General vessel upkeep (cleaning, cooking, painting, chipping)
  • Minor engine room tasks (oil changes, greasing, filter changes)
  • Additional duties as directed by the Captain or Mate

What We're Looking For

Experience : Prior push boat experience highly preferred Requirements : - TWIC card (must maintain) - Valid driver's license - Reliable transportation - Minimum age : 18 - Ability to work holidays / weekends and adapt to changing schedules Physical Ability : - Lift up to 100 lbs. - Climb ladders, work on uneven surfaces, and in all weather conditions - Comfortable working aboard boats and barges

Must pass pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check High school diploma or equivalent preferred
