Job Summary
Meadow Falls of Bath is seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our team in Akron, OH. As the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our healthcare facility. Responsibilities
Greet patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner, answering phone calls and responding to inquiries
Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments, checking in patients, and verifying insurance information
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans
Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and correspondence
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care
Provide support to other departments, as needed, to ensure efficient and effective operations
Maintain a clean and organized reception area, including the waiting room and reception desk
Requirements
1+ years of experience in a healthcare or customer service setting
High school diploma or equivalent required
Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs)
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care and customer service
