The VA Loma Linda Healthcare System is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Dermatology Physician to provide comprehensive patient care for Veterans. The role includes diagnosing and treating skin disorders, performing procedures, and educating medical students and residents. The position requires active participation in a multidisciplinary team while ensuring compliance with medical standards and documentation requirements.

Selected candidate will be considered for a faculty appointment at Loma Linda University & be involved with education & teaching of medical students, residents & other providers. Position Details :

Evaluations / Consultations in diagnosing and treating skin disorders and diseases.

• Provide comprehensive direct patient care in both the ambulatory-outpatient and inpatient dermatology settings, including evaluation / consultation, examination, diagnosis, follow-up, medical record documentation / record-keeping and correspondence surgical procedures including staffing resident clinics.
• Interprets and evaluates clinical data for the purpose of determining diagnosis and clinical status.
• Participate in electronic consultations (e-consult) to improve access to dermatology care as well as increased use of Specialty Care Access Network-Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes (SCAN-ECHO) to foster education and improve care.
• Participate in teledermatology store and forward consultations, virtual video connect visits, and myVAimage.

Work Schedule : Monday-Friday, (Includes participation in On-Call coverage for evenings, weekends and holidays)

Salary Range : $340,000-$365,000

Board certification or Board eligible in Dermatology is preferred.
