A company is looking for a Design Director to lead design work across various projects, focusing on community-centered experiences and participatory design processes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead design efforts for the Living Infrastructure Field Kit and ensure community-centered approaches

Manage and develop a design team while coordinating with specialist contractors across various disciplines

Present design strategies to stakeholders and measure design impact to support human and ecological wellbeing

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience in UX, product, and / or experience design in complex systems

3+ years of demonstrated strategic thinking and team development experience

Experience with participatory design methods and cross-functional collaboration

Proven ability to create accessible interfaces for diverse human abilities and contexts

Strong project management skills, including defining scopes, timelines, and budgets
