Senior Mechanical Designer/Engineer:
Our company is in search of a Mechanical Designer or Mechanical Engineer with at least 3 years of experience in HVAC/Plumbing Design. The ideal candidate will have a PE license (but it's not mandatory) and possess a strong understanding of commercial/institutional Building Mechanical Systems as well as mechanical national codes, standards, and regulations.
Typical Responsibilities:
- Conducts in-depth and detailed design work, including system approach, equipment selection, mechanical room layout, and coordination with clients.
- Utilizes 3D Revit and 2D CAD software for design work.
- Produces project designs, drawings, specifications, calculations, correspondence, surveys, code analysis, and assists with construction administration as needed.
The ideal candidate should have:
- BSME degree or a 2-year technical degree with relevant experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.).
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude is essential.
