The Opportunity:
Candidate will be part of a dynamic, growing, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team.
This position is located at our facility in Melbourne, Florida with telework potential, with occasional travel to Fairfax, Virginia as duties require.
The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting our production and R&D operations.
Responsibilities:
The candidate will work closely with production management, quality, and engineering to support documentation, and design files.
The candidate will be responsible for continual improvement of design and manufacturing documentation and ensure compliance to industry standards.
The candidate will be responsible for current designs and future design work documentation to support outside production and internal manufacturing.
The candidate may have other duties as assigned by management in support of manufacturing and/or engineering services.
Qualifications:
- US citizenship, due to the nature of the work and contract requirement
- Active DoD SECRET security clearance, due to contract requirement (not sure if needed)
- 5 years’ experience with CAD systems (Catia, ProE, Solidworks, AutoCAD or similar)Good organizational, inter-personnel and written communication skills
- Experience developing documentation with Solidworks
- Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) ASME 14.5 -2009
- Familiarity with Engineering Drawing Practices AMSE 14.100 – 2013
- Experience managing data containing like design files
- Experience working with several disciplines to develop high quality documents

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$65,000 - $136,500
