GDIT is growing and we need a Proposal Desktop Publisher!
HOW A PROPOSAL DESKTOP PUBLISHER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
● Responsible for supporting the proposal manager with production plan development, color team prep, document creation and management, and production of proposals
● Responsible for ensuring proposal documents are compliant with section L
● Supports SharePoint admin tasks throughout proposal effort
● Other desktop publishing tasks as needed
● This role directly contributes to the success of the proposal team and the financial success of the company
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: High School degree
● Required Experience: 9+ years of related experience or 5+ years with a bachelor's degree
● Must be very familiar with government RFP process and the Shipley method
● Expected to be able to read and understand RFP documents (C, L, M) and interpret them to create compliant proposal document templates
● Required Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office; SharePoint; Adobe Acrobat Pro
● Security Clearance Level: SECRET
● Required Skills and Abilities: Proposal experience, Desktop publishing, Must be organized, have good communication skills, handle a fast-paced, deadline-driven working environment; flexibility to work independently and as a team member
● Location: Hybrid--must come into Herndon, VA
● US Citizenship Required
