Pay Rate : $98.77 – $111.73 / hr

Shift / Hours : 8 AM – 5 PM

Job Summary :

We are seeking a Senior Engineer with deep expertise in structural and line design analysis for transmission and distribution systems. This role requires strong technical knowledge of utility systems, California regulatory codes, and engineering software. You will serve as a technical lead and mentor , supporting design, field construction, and emergency restoration.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform structural and line design using PLS-CADD, PLS-Pole, and PLS-Caisson .

Lead QA / QC processes to ensure safety and compliance with regulatory standards.

Review / design pole foundations and assess existing infrastructure.

Support field construction teams, conduct inspections, and assist in emergency restoration.

Maintain design specifications and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers in transmission engineering practices .

Required Experience :

Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.

Active California Civil PE License .

7+ years of engineering experience in transmission / distribution line design.

Knowledge of California GO95, NESC, and ASCE codes .

Proficiency in PLS-CADD, PLS-Pole, AutoCAD .

Nice-to-Have Experience :

PLS-Caisson proficiency.

Experience with SPIDAcalc .

Required Skills :
