Special Education Teacher – Early Intervention (SPED)

We are seeking Special Education Teachers who are passionate about making a difference in children’s lives within home and community settings.
Position Overview :
As a Special Education Teacher in our Early Intervention program, you will work with infants and toddlers (birth to 3 years old) with developmental delays. You will design and implement individualized intervention plans and partner with families to support their child’s educational and functional growth.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide direct early childhood special education services to children in home and community settings.
- Develop and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs).
- Conduct developmental assessments and progress monitoring.
- Work collaboratively with families and interdisciplinary team members.
- Deliver family coaching to encourage developmental growth.
- Maintain documentation and service logs in compliance with NYC EI requirements.
- Flexible scheduling with full-time, part-time, hourly, or fee-for-service options.

- New York State certification in Special Education (Birth–Grade 2 or equivalent).
- Experience with infants, toddlers, or early childhood preferred.
- Knowledge of Early Intervention service delivery models and documentation standards.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to travel within assigned boroughs of NYC.
- Hand dexterity ability (ability to operate mobile device, smart phone, computer).
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to travel to various locations on a near daily basis.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
