JobDescription :
TheAssociateEducator(AE) :
- Works with an individual student and small groups of students to implement lessons or practice in reading, writing, and math in person
- Effectively motivates students to complete work and progress in their learning toward learning goals
- Facilitates lunch and recess duty
- Maintains a positive classroom culture by working effectively with students and staff of all backgrounds
- Supports the development of English language development, positive behaviors and social / emotional skills, in accordance with students' learning plans.
- Provides positive reinforcement and helps students build independence.
- Collaborates effectively with a variety of colleagues.
- Effectively collects and maintains evidence of student growth and other data.
