JOB SUMMARY :

The Inpatient Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician assumes responsibility for care of the dialysis patient only as it pertains to dialysis under the direct supervision of a RN. The Technician is not responsible for general patient care.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

Current certification : Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT); Certified Clinical Nephrology Technician (CCNT); or Board of Nephrology Examiners Nursing & Technology (BONENT).

Current BLS certification required.

Minimum of 3-5 years experience as a dialysis technician required.

Six month to One year experience in the area of Hemodinamics, Basic and advance EKG, basic pharmacology and invasive cardiology preferred.
