Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the requirements of the department and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, you will provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, following established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." You will also act as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization's vision, mission, and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.
What you will do in this role :
Demonstrate skill in setup and operation of dialysis equipment in differing settings
Perform various types of dialysis therapies, including hemodialysis
Manages water treatment and testing as directed.
Completes and documents required testing as scheduled
Provide therapeutic and administrative services necessary for the care of the patient, in support of HCA ethical principles and values.
Provide safe medication administration for the adult patient population.
Assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting all aspects of patient care. Set priorities and modifies patient care in response to changing conditions by utilizing problem solving skills and exhibiting good judgment.
Collaborate with all health care providers and interdisciplinary team serving as the primary coordinator to facilitate and coordinate efficient, effective, and quality healthcare. Communicate patient progress towards the outcome attainment and assist providers and team during treatment / examination of patient and process orders.
Makes appropriate and timely notification to providers on patient condition changes and carries out provider orders.
Monitors, records, and communicates effectively patient condition as appropriate, utilizing computerized documentation systems to maintain therapeutic relationships with patients, families, and physicians.
Assesses and coordinates patient’s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Instructs and educates patients and families providing age and culturally appropriate care.
What qualifications you will need :
Required :
Registered Nurse with New Hampshire license or Compact License when applicable
BLS : American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS : American Heart Association or American Red Cross
CPI – within 60 days of hire
Minimum of 1 year of critical care nursing experience
Preferred :
BSN or higher degree in Nursing
