Position Purpose :

  • Perform operational duties in order to provide safe and nutritious food to patients and customers of Saint Anthony Hospital cafeteria, Physicians' Dining, and catering events.

Essential Functions :

  • Prepares, assembles, delivers and / or serves meals and nourishments for patients, cafeteria, Physicians' Dining room, and catering events. Sets up catering events following established departmental catering standards.
  • Performs tray line tasks with an above average degree of accuracy.
  • Receives all deliveries and assures accurate quantity and quality of products. Ensures and performs proper storage of merchandise.
  • Performs cashier duties in the cafeteria and Physicians' Dining Room.
  • Executes proper cleaning and sanitation of dishware, pots and pans. Ensures proper sanitation of Foodservice facilities.
  • Delivers tube feeding and floor stock to patient care areas.
  • Completes quality control records / logs as appropriate and reports and deviations to supervisor.

    • General Job requirements :

  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Able to work harmoniously with peers, supervisors, and other departments, visitors and patients
  • Previous experience in dietary or food services preferred
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Sanitation certification preferred
