$77,099 - $98,687 minimum starting pay

Job Level : Manager

Shelter maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in geographic location, education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Please remember that this range is the starting base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position.

What You Will Be Doing :

Assist the Director of Advertising in overseeing the Companies corporate and cooperative advertising programs. Oversee the placement of advertising media buys and the subsequent invoice review and payment process (including the LAPP program) in accordance with overall plans and objectives. Responsible for compliance reviews of all corporate and agent-generated ad materials. Manage creative development of advertising materials for both print and digital assets. Oversee event and sponsorship coordination as needed. Supervise and coordinate staffing, work assignments, employee performance and productivity of assigned personnel. Perform personnel administrative functions for assigned staffing, including hiring, employee development, performance and salary reviews.

  • Leadership and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with other departments
  • Ability to discern appropriate trends, pricing, discounts and fees in negotiating media buys
  • Able to work with designers to develop all forms of advertising
  • Knowledge of insurance advertising laws and regulations
  • Experience with spreadsheets and databases
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
