We are looking to hire a teacher beginning in late December / early January 2026 to work the following days and times. This schedule would last until May 2026 but, there's plenty of potential to continue working our summer camps and into the 2026 school year and beyond. In late December our art studio holds winter camps for children ages 3 yrs.-13 yrs. We would need someone that could help teach these and then jump into the below schedule after the new year :

• Tuesdays from 2 : 30-7 : 45 PM at after school art programs in Cincinnati / at our home studio to teach art classes.
• Wednesdays from 2 : 15-5 : 15 PM at after school art programs in Cincinnati.
• Thursdays from 3-5 : 30 PM at after school art programs in Cincinnati.
• Fridays from 3-8 : 45 PM at after school art programs / after school art programs in Cincinnati / at our home studio to teach art classes.
• (Various times )Some Saturdays to help instruct art birthday parties for kids.
• (Various times) Some Sundays to help instruct art birthday parties for kids.

We are looking for a person who has preferably worked in the field of early education / art education with experience in the classroom. We’re an energetic team of art teachers who value children, creativity, and a work environment that promotes respect and kindness. The Art Spark is a women-owned children’s art studio sparking creativity since 2010! Founded by Emily DiNardo and Jacquelyn Hoffman, we’re now proudly located in downtown Montgomery above Elizabeth Grace Home.

Kids dive into hands-on art adventures—painting murals, sculpting miniatures, and imagining the impossible! In addition to classes for many ages, we offer camps, birthday parties, and special events. We also bring after-school programs to schools across the city, inspiring curiosity and creativity in every young artist.

About The Art Spark : A Creative Classroom :

The Art Spark is a women-owned creative children’s classroom, opened in September of 2010 by Emily DiNardo and Jacquelyn Hoffman. Our first home was in the basement art room of Rockwern Academy in Montgomery. In 2016 we moved to a studio in Symmes Township where we spent seven and half wonderful years. As of September 2024 we moved back to Montgomery, right in the heart of beautiful downtown! We are now off Cooper Road, above Elizabeth Grace Home. Our studio offers children infinitely many ways to explore art. We also offer after school classes to school in need of an extracurricular art program throughout the city. As professional art educators, we know learning and art is beyond specific skills and tools. Our studio encourages students to ask questions, solve problems creatively, and utilize art materials to achieve unique solutions. Whether painting large scale murals, sculpting food and dishes from around the world, or deciding what it looks like inside of a rainbow, imagination is ignited for every child who has the opportunity to learn and grow at The Art Spark.
