About Us :  Vaco Los Angeles is working with a client who is looking for an AP Director. The company is based in Beverly Hills and the role will be hybrid (3 days / week on-site).

Position Overview : The Accounts Payable Director will oversee the day-to-day activities of the accounts payable department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our financial processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a strategic mindset to enhance our accounts payable operations through automation and improved policies.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage and lead the accounts payable team to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

Develop, implement, and streamline accounts payable processes and policies.

Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with internal controls and best practices.

Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements, leveraging tools like NetSuite, Concur, and Tipalti.

Prepare and present reports to senior management on accounts payable performance and metrics.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial objectives and initiatives.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Proven experience in an accounts payable leadership role.

Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and best practices.

Experience with NetSuite, Concur, and Tipalti is a plus.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
