This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, decision science, and analytics strategy enabling Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to leverage data for measurable business impact. / ppThis role focuses on strategic oversight, cross-functional influence, and high-impact decision-making while ensuring operational excellence across millions to billions of customer interactions. / ppWhat Youll Do How Youll Make Your Mark : / pulliDefine, own, and architect the company-wide data strategy, infrastructure, and operationalization, ensuring alignment with business objectives for retention, growth, and operational excellence. / liliLead the planning, prioritization, and execution of high-impact data initiatives, collaborating closely with engineering, business intelligence, and analytics teams. / liliEnable decision science at scale : predictive modeling, experimentation, churn analysis, LTV modeling, and personalization strategies. / liliPartner with Product, Marketing, and Operations to translate business priorities into actionable data initiatives, while leaving day-to-day pipeline execution to VP-level or operational teams. / liliEstablish and enforce data governance, quality, security, and compliance policies across large-scale hosting and SMB datasets. / liliCommunicate insights, trade-offs, and strategic recommendations effectively to executive leadership. / liliMentor senior individual contributors and managers, helping to scale a high-performing, technically sophisticated data organization. / li / ulpWho You Are What Youll Need To Succeed : / pulli10+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or analytics, with at least 35 years in technical leadership or Head of Data-level roles. / liliProven experience with high-volume consumer and SMB datasets millions to billions of users, e-commerce, or hosting platforms. / liliStrong technical foundation in data infrastructure, pipelines, cloud platforms (Azure, OCI, etc.), ETL / ELT, orchestration (Airflow, DBT), warehouses / lakes, and decision science / predictive modeling. / liliHands-on understanding of statistics, ML, algorithms, linear algebra, optimization, and experimentation frameworks. / liliAbility to bridge technical execution and business strategy, influencing Product, Marketing, and Operations without managing day-to-day analytics reporting. / liliExcellent communicator, capable of presenting technical strategies and insights to executives. / liliAmbitious, self-driven, and hungry to define the future of data at a large-scale hosting organization. / li / ulpWhy Youll Love Us : / pulliWeve evolved; we provide three work environment scenarios.
