Job Summary As the Distribution Center (DC) Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the operations of our established wholesale regional replenishment warehouse, which carries a diverse range of equipment, parts, and supplies.

Your primary mission is to build and manage a team of associates within our Distribution Center.

With a strong emphasis on servicing our network of selling locations.

You will be responsible for optimizing the distribution processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to our sales centers, thereby driving sales and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Your leadership will ensure that our selling locations are fully supported, enabling them to meet their sales targets and provide exceptional service to our customers.

Through strategic management and operational excellence, you will contribute to the overall success and profitability of the company. Essential Duties/Accountabilities Act as a leader in the industry, ensuring the distribution center achieves maximum productivity and accuracy. Oversee all safety and training-related matters within the distribution center. Supervise all distribution center functions professionally, including Pick/Pack, Receiving and Inventory Control. Coordinate shipments to sales centers and with carriers. Manage the ordering of supplies for the Distribution Center. Ensure prompt and efficient delivery to sales centers, customers, and vendors. Oversee equipment maintenance, safety, and repairs. Train and supervise staff including Warehouse, Receiving/Shipping, Delivery, and Fleet Drivers. Handle Company reports and ensure KPI’s are being met. Maintain professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with branch and warehouse associates. Coordinate training and events for the Distribution Center. Manage inventory to ensure minimal loss or damage. Review the Distribution Center P&L. Assist in the recruiting process, hire, train, and lead a diverse workforce. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred. Minimum 5 years operational experience within the wholesale/distribution/logistics industry, preferably in the operations of a wholesale equipment supply house. Experience in shipping, logistics, operations, warehousing, and inventory management. Strong interpersonal skills including sales, problem solving, and customer service are absolutely required. Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with skills to multi-task on different levels. Must possess the attitude of wanting to learn, teach and lead. Mechanical or Technical background. Proficient in Microsoft Office products. Proven success in managing and mentoring other employees while establishing the Distribution Center’s business goals. Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and understanding English to ensure full compliance with safety standards, training, policies, and procedures. English proficiency i.e. reading, writing, speaking, and understanding is required. Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds. The employee frequently is required to stand, sit, walk, climb, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Ability to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, and telephone for prolonged periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee may use equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
