As a Merchant Support Coordinator, you will assist with the day to day operations for collections and recovery functions.
Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm Availability for occasional evening or weekend work required based on business volume
Pay: $23-26/hour DOE ...
Responsibilities:
-Account Servicing: Facilitate merchant requests, including preparing payoff letters, zero-balance confirmations, and account reconciliations
-UCC Management: Oversee the accurate preparation, processing, and termination of UCC filings
-Collections Support: Organize and transition necessary documentation for accounts referred to external collection agencies
-Data & Document Control: Manage the uploading and organization of critical files within internal databases and shared digital platforms
-Legal Administration: Assist with processing bankruptcy documentation and support internal legal activities by organizing case files and drafting routine correspondence under attorney guidance
-Communication Oversight: Monitor departmental inboxes to provide timely responses to service inquiries and documentation requests
-Special Projects: Generate recurring operational reports and provide administrative assistance for various department-led initiatives
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
-Prior experience in administrative support, office coordination, or a legal assistant capacity
-Background in financial services, collections, or merchant account servicing
-Familiarity with legal documentation or working within highly regulated processes
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
-Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
-Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in documentation
-Professional written and verbal communication skills
-Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet firm deadlines
-Comfort following standardized procedures and highly detailed instructions
