Hiring for Document Specialists for a Financial Services client in Saint Paul!
Job Description
The candidate will be responsible for receiving mortgage files from the field (from notary or client) from lenders such as Citi and Countrywide. Will go through each file and audit the package.
- Responsible for going through a checklist to ensure QC requirements, updating reports, auditing documents and making corrections as necessary, interacting with notary to clear exceptions and telephone or email correspondence with the client.
- Will be responsible for 25 files per day (and 150-250 files during busy times). Must be a self-starter, will be hitting the ground running from day one with little formal training.
- Strong Leadership skills, experience with mortgage document recognition especially knowledge of recordable documents, someone who has the ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining accuracy, and a positive attitude.
- Experience from a settlement or title company is a must. Schedule: 7:30 AM-4:30 PM (must be flexible on this).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
