What You'll Do:
- Support the expansion of the firm's M&A referral capabilities, strengthen relationships with external partners, and directly support financial advisors and their business owner clients with complex M&A-related needs.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the field and the firm's M&A offerings, acting as a subject-matter expert on M&A topics and helping guide branch teams along the optimal path for client servicing and engagement.
- Bring strong relationship-building skills, analytical and organizational capabilities, and a passion for working with business owners and the advisors who support them in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Support the overall M&A program, including tracking team activity, managing client and business development reporting, assisting with opportunity follow-ups, and leveraging technical knowledge to support live cases.
- Report to the Senior Director of the M&A program, support opportunity intake and workflow coordination, assist with partner relationship and network management, and provide market insights through various channels to Financial Advisors and clients.
- Leverage foundational experience in M&A, investment banking, corporate finance, business development, or a related field to ensure alignment with firm objectives and deliver measurable results.
What Experience You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent.
- 3+ years of relevant experience, including:
- Comfort level reviewing and analyzing financial statements, including EBITDA and other key valuation metrics
- Base level understanding of M&A or Investment Banking processes and terminology
