Title :
Co Teacher- Early Head Start (Infants 0-3 year olds).
Reports to :
Education Coordinator
Supervises : None
Wage : Without CDA : starting wage $18.52- 5% pay increase after 90 days with review (we will pay for you to get the CDA Certificate).
With CDA (child development associate) or similar degree : starting wage $19.93 / hr- 5 % pay increase after 90 days with performance review. We pay more when you get your CDA.
Schedule : 8 : 00am-4 : 00pm, year-round position with some breaks (Christmas break, Spring break, and a couple weeks in the summer that are non-paid workdays). No weekends!

Purpose of Position :
The Co-Teacher provides children with a positive learning environment and varied experiences that will help them develop in all areas in a manner appropriate to their developmental level. The co-teacher works in collaboration with Teacher and Site Team to enhance the parent’s role as the principal influence on the child’s education and development. For this role we are looking for someone who has experience with infant care with Birth to 3 year old's.
Below are the essential duties of this position. Other duties may be assigned, as needed.
May be relocated within the SENDCAA Head Start or Early Head Start sites to best fit the program needs.
