Description Mental Health Associate - Social Work Education at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. This is a Part-Time (0.6 FTE), Night Shift position. Provides intervention and continuity of care to patients with behavioral health concerns and / or severe psycho-social stressors. Required Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in a behavioral science field; preferably in mental health related field such as social work, psychology, sociology, counseling, and / or social sciences or equivalent education / experience. Coursework / Training : Annual training in Prevention and Management of Assaultive Behavior (PMAB) within 60 days of hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 60 days of hire. 2 years experience providing direct care assistance to individuals with behavioral health concerns and / or severe psycho-social stressors and / or Development Disabilities and / or healthcare setting.
