JOB OPPORTUNITY
JOB TITLE : Instructional / Intervention Aide
SITE LOCATION OF POSITION : Standard Middle School
TERM / HOURS OF POSITION : 5.75 Hours Per Day
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES : Under the supervision of the site administrator and the direction of a certificated staff member, performs the necessary duties to assist in the planning and implementation of a program for the regular and special needs of children in the classroom.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Education / Certification :
- Associate's degree, two years of study at an institute of higher learning, or have met formal academic assessment required by No Child Left Behind Act.
- CPR training. Special Knowledge / Skills :
- Ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics.
- Ability to work well with children
- Ability to communicate effectively
Experience :
SALARY : Range 5, $16.90 - $19.61 per hour based on 10 steps. (Additional $0.32 in lieu of benefits).
SCREENING PROCEDURES : Review of applications and personal interviews.
