Our school is seeking a dedicated, passionate, and experienced Lead Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Our Lead Teachers play a vital role in creating a nurturing, engaging, and high-quality learning environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.

Position Overview

The Lead Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing a high-quality classroom program, maintaining a safe and organized learning environment, and building positive relationships with children, families, and team members. This role also includes mentoring assistant teachers and ensuring classroom practices align with licensing and school expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities
• Create a warm, engaging, and well-organized classroom environment
• Ensure active supervision and the health and safety of all children
• Observe, assess, and document children’s development and progress
• Communicate effectively and professionally with families
• Guide and support assistant teachers in daily classroom routines
• Maintain compliance with state licensing regulations and school policies
• Participate in ongoing professional development and staff meetings
