Our client is a growing online retail and distribution company operating multiple entities across e-commerce platforms. With strong sales growth and expanding product lines, they are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with both numbers and people.

About the Accountant opportunity :

The accountant will be responsible for managing accounting functions across multiple entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, reconciling sales and inventory, and supporting month-end close processes. This role requires strong experience with QuickBooks Online and Shopify, particularly in reconciling e-commerce sales and inventory data.

Key Responsibilities of the Accountant :

  • Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple entities
  • Perform monthly bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
  • Reconcile Shopify sales, payment processors, and QuickBooks Online
  • Analyze and reconcile inventory, COGS, and related adjustments
  • Ensure accurate tracking of inventory across systems
  • Helping to prepare and review monthly financial statements
  • Assist with intercompany transactions and consolidations
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Work cross-functionally with operations and fulfillment teams
  • Assist with year-end processes and external accountants as needed

    • Qualifications needed :

  • 3+ years of accounting experience (e-commerce or retail preferred)
  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online
  • Experience working with Shopify and reconciling e-commerce sales
  • Solid understanding of inventory accounting and analysis
  • Experience managing multiple entities is strongly preferred
  • Strong Excel skills
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly, team-oriented attitude
