Description of Task to be Performed : AnaVation is looking for a talented Procurement Analyst who is passionate about supporting National Security missions. The ideal candidate appreciates partnering with our government customers and their intelligence and cybersecurity stakeholders. This position is full-time on-site in Linthicum Heights, Maryland. Position Responsibilities : Lead problem definition, analysis, requirements development, and implementation for complex systems, offering guidance across technical, managerial, and administrative aspects. Assist in identifying and evaluating manpower and IT capability needs across the mission portfolio to ensure alignment with operational requirements. Contribute to the development and drafting of acquisition documents and related materials, and support program analyses including business, cost, and sustainability analyses. Offer subject matter expertise, coordinate tasks and projects among internal and external stakeholders, and provide recommendations for organization-wide system improvements and optimization across various technical specialties.
Required Qualifications :
- Clearance : Citizen, SCI cleared within last 2 years.
- Location : Full time on-site in Linthicum Heights, Maryland.
- Experience and knowledge :
- Five or more years experience supporting Government acquisition for software, hardware and related services.
- Experience working with technical requirements experts to define clear procurement specifications and rationale.
- Experience with Department of Defense procurement processes.
- Experience with FAR and CPSR (Contract Purchasing System Review)
- Experience in analyzing requirements, units of measure, annual usage, and costs.
- Skilled in developing and drafting acquisition documents and related materials.
- Experience coordinating recurring Government review and approvals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
