Qualifications :
Master’s degree in Educational Diagnostician Certification through TEA. Prefer 1 year of prior experience
What You'll Be Doing :
Administer, score, and interpret formal and informal assessments to determine student eligibility for special education services according to state and federal regulations. Receive student referrals and implement the appraisal process. Take part in the Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee to help interpret assessment data, determine appropriate student placement, and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in alignment with district procedures. Collaborate and consult with the interdisciplinary education team, parents / guardians, and community agencies as needed.
