We are seeking a detail-oriented Site Engineer / Construction Administration Professional to support projects during the active construction phase in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This full-time role focuses on field coordination, technical review, and quality assurance to ensure engineering designs are properly executed onsite.
The ideal candidate has experience working in construction administration or field engineering and is comfortable collaborating with contractors, design teams, and project managers to maintain compliance and schedule performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor construction progress and verify work aligns with approved engineering plans
- Support construction administration tasks including RFI responses, submittal reviews, and document coordination
- Conduct field observations to confirm installation accuracy and code compliance
- Communicate effectively with contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders
- Prepare detailed site reports and document field conditions
- Assist in resolving technical and design-related issues during construction
- Maintain quality control standards and support schedule adherence
- Coordinate between field personnel and office-based engineering teams
Requirements
- Experience in construction administration, field engineering, or site inspection
- Background in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
