General Summary
As an Electronic Services Intern, you will work closely with the department on various tasks, attend meetings, and manage small projects to gain an in-depth understanding of departmental functions and their impact on the organization. This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop hands-on experience in payment processing, error resolution, business intelligence, and fraud prevention within the financial services industry.

Job Responsibilities

• Payments and Exception Processing:
  Gain insight into payment processes, including Automated Clearing House (ACH), wires, debit cards, and the integration of payment networks within core banking applications.
• Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Disputes & Error Resolution:
  Learn about debit card and ACH disputes, Zelle transactions, fraud detection trends, and the overall impact of fraud on members.
• ATM and Card Balancing:
  Assist with balancing ATMs and reconciling general ledger entries.
• Business Intelligence Data Analysis:
• Use and create reports to analyze payment processing data, including statistical reviews to identify trends and improve processes.
• Departmental Operations:
  Develop an understanding of departmental functions and their significance to the organization's success.
• Cross-Training and Shadowing:
  Shadow various roles within the department to gain comprehensive knowledge and assist with diverse tasks.
• Other Duties as Assigned:
  Support the team with additional tasks or projects as needed.
