Insight Global is looking for a sharp, entrepreneurial-minded Foundation Engineer to join an innovative ground screw solutions company sitting remote outside of Des Moines, IA. This is a full-time, permanent role with competitive base salary, commission opportunity, and comprehensive benefits.

This in-house engineer will lead the development, deployment, and promotion of this company's ground screw foundation systems. This is a unique opportunity to help lead the technical direction of a growing company while working closely with sales and leadership teams to bring cutting-edge foundation solutions to market. Because this role involves both hands-on engineering and business development, this role offers commission in addition to base salary.

To be successful in this role, we are seeking foundation engineers or structural engineers with at least 5 years of engineering experience, in addition to a sales mindset and willingness to be client-facing.

Day to day responsibilities :

• Serve as the company's technical authority on ground screw foundation systems
• Partner with the sales team to provide technical expertise during client engagements, proposals, and presentations
• Lead the development of engineering standards, design tools, and installation guidelines
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to support project planning and sales
• Design and validate custom foundation solutions for diverse applications
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
• Build and eventually lead a high-performing engineering team as the company grows
