Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills General social skills, capacity for teamwork, problem-solving competence, general project management, time and self-management, coordination and organizational skills, and communication skills. The work environment is a professional office environment where a conservative business dress code is in effect. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to type, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus. Equipment use includes computer, calculator, and telephone. Ability to understand both spoken and written directions and good vision required. Personal protective equipment required includes protective toed safety shoes and safety glasses with side shields (when on the manufacturing floor). Maintain a safe working environment and comply with all safety and environmental policies / procedures. Each employee is to place environment, health and safety requirements as the first priority in the performance of their work duties. An employee is responsible for notifying their immediate supervisor of a violation or deficiency in working conditions and for recommending corrective measures, if possible. Job Purpose or Summary :
A Control Systems Engineer is responsible for designing and analyzing control systems, verifying, and implementing code, fixing malfunctions, explaining, and providing information, and analyzing and researching designs.
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Design and Functional Design Specification, PLC code, and sequencer pinning documentation based on process design.
- Design I / O Checkout list.
- Design equipment specification and cost analysis.
- Design electrical schematics and controls equipment.
- Develop equipment and labor cost estimation.
- Design of control system network architecture.
- Lead Functional Design Specification meetings and Factory Acceptance Test simulations.
- Lead commissioning and training activities.
- Aid in continuous improvements of new and existing Control standards to be utilized by all members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. EIT, PE, CCE, ISA, and Ignition Core / Gold certified.
Experience / Training : 3-6 years of experience in a related field.
