In this role, you'll coordinate daily deliveries with our customers, and provide answers and solutions to various customer requests.

Wage Range: $25.00-$30.00/hr DOE w/ potential for overtime Company Benefits: * Family Culture- We treat our team like family * Medical/Dental/Vision/Prescription * Generous Paid Time Off * 401k with 5% company match * Potential for Overtime * Opportunities for Internal Mobility * Professional Development Opportunities * Training Provided * Tuition Reimbursement Program - We'll assist with continuing education that aligns with your career goals * Employee Assistance Program * Company Paid Life Insurance * Short- & Long-Term Disability * Earn More with our Employee Referral Program * Company Discounts on products, goods, services, electronics, automotive, travel & more! * Opportunities for Community Engagement Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions) * Answer's customer and driver calls in a timely and professional manner * Schedules and tracks orders and deliveries. * Prepare daily schedule for next-day deliveries outlining equipment, personnel, and material needed. * Coordinate deliveries with customers, sales, quality control, operators and other personnel as required regarding special materials needed, customer requirements, plant, and material availability. * Maintain working knowledge of city streets and surrounding areas to assist drivers in locating specific job sites. * Schedule, dispatch and control the appropriate level of drivers required to satisfy customer demand while maintaining safety and efficiency goals established by the company * Must be able to work overtime and varying shift including early mornings, late afternoons and Saturdays * Record accurate deliver and product information on order, negotiates delivery times with customers * Enters daily time for all drivers utilizing a time entry system. * Attention to detail is imperative to accurately record delivery and product information into command dispatch system with ability to negotiate delivery times with customers * Must be able to perform in high call volume situations while multitasking with plants, team members in the office while sitting for long periods of time * Take action to avoid potential hazards or obstructions. * Other tasks and duties as assigned to meet business needs. * Promptly communicate with supervisors on any flaws in material. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Minimum Qualifications: * Safety minded professional who demonstrates good performance and attendance. * Must pass pre-employment controlled substance testing. * Proficient with Microsoft Windows applications. * Demonstrates the ability to perform work efficiently utilizing different pieces of software. * Demonstrates the ability to do basic math. * Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel via telephone and two-way radio. * Demonstrates the ability to work independently, without direct supervision. * Demonstrates a willingness to work overtime and weekends. * Demonstrates ability to work and communicate well with Supervisors, Truck Drivers, Heavy Equipment Operators and other employees. * Demonstrates the ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions. * Demonstrates the willingness to learn and work a variety of job tasks. * Demonstrates excellent customer service skills. Preferred Qualifications: * High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. * Previous related experience in a construction environment and/or trucking preferred. Work Environment * Office setting * This position is a largely sedentary; however, caution needs to be taken when lifting files, boxes, opening file cabinet drawers * To avoid injuries to hands, back, and neck, proper ergonomics should be maintained while working at desk/workstation * Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time The statements included in this job description are not intended to be all-inclusive.
