Shift Schedule :

  • 6a-4p 9a-9p 2p-12a or 8p-6a

    • Patient Volume : Total 80 / day; 1.8 patients per hr

    Support staff : APP 12 hrs full ED support with nursing & tech full radiology full lab.

    Required Procedures :

  • EM related procedures
  • Family Med Procedures / Skills : Adult OP Pediatric-General OP Newborn resuscitation
  • Orthopedic-Non-displaced fractures Suturing of minor lacerations Incision & Drainage Psychiatric-Uncomplicated adult Psych-Uncomplicated child / adolescent Psych-Uncomplicated geriatric Diagnosis & mgmt of common industrial-related medical problems
  • Ventilation mgmt-establishing & maintaining an airway; various modes of ventilation for up to 24 hrs w / o pulmonary consultation Evaluation & mgmt of acute volume / BP issues Central & Arterial Line EKG Interpretation Arthrocentesis Lumbar puncture Paracentesis.

    • EMR : Cerner

    Travel lodging and malpractice insurance covered

    Requirements : Active MI license

    BC in EM (Or IM / FM w / minimum of 2 yrs of recent ED experience)

    ACLS BLS PALS

    Clean record

    Immunizations / Vaccinations (Flu / COVID / TB etc)

    Local / No flight needed
