This role leads projects on the State Hazard Mitigation Plan and local and Tribal Hazard Mitigation Planning, collaborating with a diverse team and stakeholders to ensure timely completion and compliance with federal directives. Eligible candidates must be able to convert to FTE (no visa sponsorship). Open to new graduates with Emergency Management degrees. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, possesses advanced planning expertise, and has experience with written plans, such as continuity of government plans.
Qualifying criteria :
- Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management or related field (required)
- Advanced planning and written plan development skills (required)
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders (federal, state, Tribal, NGO, private sector)
- Eligibility for FTE conversion (must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship)
