Emergency Medicine Opportunity in Brockton, MALocation : Brockton, Massachusetts (25 miles south of Boston)Hospital Overview : Join a busy community hospital ED with 60,000 annual visits. Fully integrated non-profit healthcare system 217 beds with over 150 employed physicians and providers.Position Details : 84 hours / day of physician coverage 36 hours / day of PA coverage Two physicians on staff from 1 : 00 am 7 : 00 am 9-hour shifts (14 shifts / month = full-time) Extra shifts available Schedule made by requests (not block schedule) In-house support : surgery, anesthesia, OB, neonatology, pediatric hospitalists, and adult hospitalists Limited resident teaching Requirements : Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine BLS, ACLS, and ATLS required until EM board certification is obtained Compensation & Benefits : Competitive base salary Pay-for-performance program with sizable annual quality-based bonus Highly competitive benefits package
