Regions Hospital is one of only three hospitals in Minnesota that is verified as a Level I Trauma Center for both adults and for children with the expertise and technology to treat the most serious injuries 24 / 7. Our Emergency Department is designed to treat patients in acuity-based care pods. You will find yourself in a fast-paced environment with over 90,000 ED visits per year.

Regions Hospital is seeking an Emergency Room Technician to join our Emergency Department. Under the immediate direction of the nurse, performs non-professional nursing care tasks for infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and other duties deemed necessary to provide an environment conducive to patient care.

• As an Emergency Room Technician, you will perform delegated patient care functions, safely, effectively, timely and efficiently, based on the age and culturally specific needs of the patient populations on the unit served.
• Communicates effectively with patients and families.
• Demonstrates effective, collaborative working relationships with other health care team members and across the organization.
• Participates as an effective unit and nursing department member.
• Maintains and updates clinical knowledge.

Work Schedule :   3 PM-11 : 30 PM, FLEX, every other weekend.
