Endoscopy technician [h1.location_city]

USPI Pearland Surgery Center  is seeking a motivated  Endoscopy Operating Room Nurse   to join our team.  We have 2 main OR rooms and 2 minor OR rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Orthopedic, ENT, Urology, Colorectal, General, Plastic, Pain Management, GI Endoscopy. We are looking for a candidate to be available Monday-Friday, schedule subject to changed based on surgical schedule and flow of day. Candidate needs to be available for some early mornings and later evenings.

Position requires weekdays only no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings required.

Job Summary :   The Endoscopy Operating Room Nurse provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.

Required Skills

Qualifications :

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
• Must have a current unrestricted RN license in the state.
• 1-2 years of experience working as Circulator.
• 1-2 years' experience in Endoscopy
• Current American Heart BLS certification.
• Scrub experience a bonus, but not required
