Job Description
The Endoscopy RN will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced endoscopy unit. Responsibilities include assisting with procedures such as colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EUS, and bronchoscopy / EBUS, as well as endoscope reprocessing. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in these areas and work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in endoscopic procedures ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate patient records using EMR Meditech.
- Participate in endoscope reprocessing and adhere to safety protocols.
- Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Provide patient education and support.
