As a graduation auditor, you will evaluate and provide direct feedback to an assigned group of students on their remaining courses, GPA, and other graduation requirements. You will ensure that graduation audits are completed accurately in SCAD Degree Planner, the student information system, and the student workflow. Among other responsibilities, you will regularly compare student records to identify mismatched information and make necessary corrections. Your duties include efficiently and accurately handling all end-of-term graduation procedures and verifying that students meet degree or certificate requirements. This involves archiving final degree audits to the student record and awarding degrees in Banner. Additionally, you will notify students about their degree awards or denials, including personalized details on any outstanding requirements, and prepare reports for diploma printing and mailing.

In this role, you will update records based on student requests, using knowledge of curriculum and academic policies. You will analyze, process, and implement adjustments in Banner, Degree Works, and individual student workflows; evaluate and process course substitution requests; and collaborate with students, success advisers, and department leaders to ensure the substituted course aligns with the student's degree program requirements. You will also communicate with all relevant parties about the requirements for students' courses of study and the variety of possibilities available. Responsibilities include the analysis and provision of quarterly trend reports on changes of majors, course substitutions, and graduation audit reviews and the completion of data clean-up projects and tests for system upgrades. Additionally, you will review and process student records according to academic policies while maintaining current and accurate documentation.

In this position, you will identify and resolve complex problems, informing registrar leadership as needed. You will assess whether a course adjustment is possible, advise on the impact of the requested change on the entire student record, and suggest alternative options if an adjustment cannot be made. You will also reprioritize and optimize Degree Works course placement rules on a case-by-case basis. Among other duties, you will inform leadership of observed issues with student workflows and applications and work with them to resolve these issues. Responsibilities also include assisting the registrar's office with orientation, drop / add, system upgrades, file management, and workflow processes.

As an auditor, you will work with commencement leadership to determine who qualifies to graduate, notify eligible students, and prepare them for their ceremony. You will act as the main point of contact for students with questions, including those from graduating students; organize the graduation fair with both internal and external vendors; and connect students with resources such as the office for career and alumni success, financial wellness, advising, regalia, and more. Additionally, you will lead presentations at graduating student meetings, ensure the graduation channel in MySCAD is current and detailed, and submit weekly updates on student names and honors to external vendors. Before graduation, you will prepare names for program proofing at all locations, submit information for ceremony ticket distribution, and test name display and pronunciation.

Minimum qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree
• At least two years of research and administrative experience
• Customer service experience

Work hours : The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday 8 : 30 a.m. to 5 : 30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and / or hours, including weekends and evenings.
